Beautiful Running, Low Mileage,[ Marrakesh Red 1995 BMW R 1100 RSL

This is a very nice condition bike which sat for awhile before I purchased it from Bob's BMW in Maryland. I got this as a project bike from them and decided to have them do all mechanical maintenance to restore it to great riding condition. I have the receipts and they have records on file of all work completed by them, hich was alot. I had them go over this bike and check everything and fix everything that needed attention. The engine cranks right up with no smoke and is very quiet running. The work finished is as follows: A new Odyssey battery w/ tender lead, rained old fuel; installed new filter which includes many other items related to it including new lines. The fuel pump and flange were fine and clutch and ABS work well; shifting great; no popping out of gear. This bike goes into first gear very smoothly with no clunking, ike most bikes I've owned. Brakes are very responsive and linear. Also, new alternator belt was installed along with the 12K Service. New oil and filter, ir filter, park plugs, ynthetic gear oil, ead gaskets, hich were just re-torqued following the break-in period and new Michelin Pilot RD3 front and rear tires. I installed a Booster Plug myself to eliminate the lean running many of these bikes have for emissions. It seems to work very well with better response and a steadier idle. I've put $3000.00 into this bike to get it as right as possible.This bike pulls very well and rides smoothly anywhere. I cleaned and waxed it to the best of my abilities and it looks really good. There is an area on the fairing by the exhaust that has burned through the paint due to high heat, ut it's behind the pipe, o it's hard to see. The exhaust chrome is a little discolored even after some polish, ut maybe it just needs the right kind. The former owner had GPS installed so there are extra wires coming up to the handlebars from underneath (see photo). I just never bothered uninstalling them. A couple of add-ons include a windscreen buffer at the top of the windscreen. It's a Motor Verholen brand item and works pretty well. The headlight has a plastic screen protector installed over it because it's glass. A larger shift peg was installed, s was a larger brake pedal and oil crankcase cap w/ brass key. All aluminum items are top quality and enhance this bike. This bike has the original bags w/ liners, s well. There are some scuffs on each bag which you might be able to see in a photo. I couldn't get all of the photos up that I wanted to upload, ut most are there for viewing. Two keys come with it. No other mods have been done. It's bone stock otherwise and just waiting for some nice mods, f your so inclined to do so. Everything works! This is a very solid bike. The reason for me selling it is because I have another bike and could use the money for it instead. I'd say that it's been criminally underidden for most of it's life and I guess I didn't do much to change that. No disappointments! Nice classic Beemer with incredibly low original miles!
