1991 BMW K100RS 4-valve scrambler tracker bobber cafe racer, ready to ride

I purchased this 1991 4-valve K100RS from Frank's BMW in Essex Junction, ermont, ith the express purpose of refurbishing and customizing it for resale. I've built four custom K-bikes in the last 18 months; the amount of work that goes into doing one of these correctly is significant. This bike now needs nothing but a rider; it shifts smoothly, racks straight, nd pulls like a freight train. Recent work includes:

• Replaced premium fluids & filters throughout: brakes, orks, oolant, rankcase, earbox, inal drive

• Inspected clutch pack and installed new o-ring

• Disassembled, leaned, nd re-packed steering head and swingarm bearings

• Lubricated drive shaft and clutch splines with Guard Dog 525

• Removed ABS pumps, ensors, ontroller; re-routed brake lines, lushed & bled brakes

• Replaced stock instrument cluster with Trail Tech Vapor, ncluding all sensors (speedo, ach, emp) and LEDs (neutral, uel, enerator, igh-beam)

• Replaced stock airbox assembly with individual intake stacks and crankcase breather

• Replaced all intake boots, -rings, nd clamps; injectors overhauled by Mister Injector

• Shortened rear subframe; fabricated custom two-up seat with fiberglass pan

• Replaced rear light assembly with side-mount plate/tail/brake light

When I bought the bike, t had a complete set of white bodywork including an unmolested RS fairing. I pulled the white parts for resale and mounted a straight black tank; the paint is very nice & glossy, ut not perfect. I have the matching front fender, hich I can install if you like. The bike looks very slick overall, ut it is not a show bike. See pics and forthcoming videos.

The BMW dealer delivered the bike to me with a VT inspection sticker, bill of sale, nd a new VT license plate. Vermont does not issue titles for vehicles more than 15 years old; rather, he Certificate of Registration functions as a title for both in-state and inter-state resale, omplete with an ownership reassignment form on the back. Here's a couple of demo ride videos that I shot in December when I had different handlebars and lights on the bike. One is mostly freeway, he other is mostly street. The bike now has the high bars like in the still photos, ut if you would prefer the low clip-on bars I can change them back. Come to think of it, also have a nice red fuel tank & front fender that I could swap out if you prefer red paint to black. Inquire for pics. Other custom substitutions or additions may be possible -- just ask!
