This bike received a complete frame off restoration in 2003 by Tom Cutter of the Rubber chicken Racing Garage. If you are reading this you probably know that Tom is one of the best (if not the best) BMW airhead restorers in the US. Tom was the Service Training Manager for Butler & Smith, he BMW importer/Distributor back in the day.

This bike was stripped down to the last nut and bolt and rebuilt. Every assembly was gone over and refreshed or renewed or replaced. It is absolutely beautiful. Repainted the original Granada Red with original correct Glasurit paint with correct hand pinstriping.

This bike wonFirst place in its one and only bike show (Freemansburg Hill Climb show, 003).

Since restoration, he bike has been kept inside my house in my heated and air conditioned “motorcycle room”. I took it out for occasional short rides in nice weather until a few years ago when it became difficult to get hi-test ethanol free gas in my area. I then drained the gas and removed the battery. Since then I have turned over the engine once a week or so with the kickstarter.

I am moving and cannot take the bike with me. I have set a starting price that is only a fraction of what I have in the bike.

Please note that there are a couple of outdoor photos of the bike. These photos were taken prior to completion. The seat and spark plug caps/wires shownin those two photos have been changed to correct items, s per the remaining photographs.
