1971 BMW R60/5 airhead. $1000s in recent repairs/updates. /5 toaster air head

Original condition 1971 BMW R60/5. Manufactured 04/71.I've owned this bike for a year, nd in that time I have over $4k in receipts.The story goes - I purchased this bike off a guy that got it from the estate of the original owner. He owned it for 4 years and never once registered it. When I bought it, took it straight to MPH Cycles in Houston. I've had repaired/replaced those things listed below.
All repairs done at the best BMW shop in Houston (MPH Cycles). Repairs include new clutch, esealed head bolt tubes, ngine disassembly to replace stop discs and mounting pins, ll new seals and gaskets, inion shaft seal and ring gear seal, arbs cleaned and tuned, ushrod seals, ew throttle handlebar unit, ew Metzler tires, tripped and resealed gas tank, ork boots, ead gasket, hrottle cam.
If you are looking for a restored bike, his isn't it. If you are looking for a bike thats had all the expensive work done and rides like a dream, his could be it. This bike is an absolute joy to ride. It's a bonus that you just don't see them around. I'm selling because i have 2 cars and 2 bikes and live in an apartment building, o need to thin the herd. I would ride this thing anywhere. The tank looks good. In the process of resealing the tank, ome of the stripper escaped and ate the paint around the gas cap (see in pics). There is a small crack in front fender, ip in vinyl seat and the chrome is dulled/scratched. But when clean the bike still looks good and get compliments everywhere.
Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy.Bike is located in Houston, X.The bike is sold as-is. At the moment i've done everything mechanically that it needs. May need a starter soon, ut the kick start does work as well. The center stand works, ut the peg needs to be re-welded. Has a side stand as well. The speedo and tach are broken.
