Replica 39 BMW R71
CJ750 based, nbsp;that had been converted to R71 replica for WWII reenacting. So many things done to make it as correct as possible.alum wire clamps,correct lights,seat covers,grips and foot peg rubbers. A lot of work went in to it and it looks great and runs like a champ. I don't get out to events like I used to so it sits in my garage.
Reproduction parts were bought from Oldtimer garage in Poland.
6v SV motor
Type 2 gearbox with out reverse. Original r71 foot shifter welded on to get rid of the goofy CJ foot shifter.
Clutch arm flipped and and cable ran under the block.
Proper battery tray and mount.
Replica BMW hand levers,spark advance,throttle, nd mechanical head light dimer.
Reproduction Proper 6V head lamp assembly, ith Bosche lens and with correct BMW key and mechanical dimer and fuse.
All CJ frame gussets removed.
Replica BMW cloth covered wiring harness.6v+ ground

Hand painted divisional markings and tire pressures and on the fenders. Has the correct data plates in the correct spots. Has the correct data plate inside the glove box on the tank.
Was a completed tear down to bare frame and built up. Frame was primed and painted with 1944 millitaria's feld Grau paint.
Has a 6v VW regulator under the tank. Starts up with 2-3 kicks and runs nice.
Has clean title and is registered in California as a 2012 special construction, nd street legal. Have current plates and registration.
