1968 BMW R69S Motorcycle Matching Numbers. For Parts, or Restore R60/2, R50, R60

R69S with matching numbers 662614 and approx. 54K Two previous owners. Last registered in Vermont 1989.
All the following is either from the previous owner or additional observations.
Previous Owner: The R69S was running with no problems when stored in 1990. Owner planned to renew the top end, nd do some cosmetic cleanup. Parts were removed for cleanup and restoration. Owner moved, nd lost interest in the project. Many parts are missing, nd what you see is what you will receive. This bike was stored inside and covered.
Additional Observations: Crank and rods spin freely with no unusual slop or play. All the electrics appear in good condition, ut the front cover has a small crack. The transmission shifts thru the range, nd the final drive (25/8) spins freely, ut needs a ring gear seal. Correct alloy wheels, nd the rear wheel has a ding. Fenders have original paint with minor dings and scratches. The rear fender has some extra holes probably from a luggage rack.
This bike has a Vermont registration, nd bill of sale. Over 40 years ago Vermont did not have titles, nd this is the only paperwork offered. Please ask all questions before bidding.
