1994 BMW R100 GSPD.

I have owned this bike for over 15 years and it has been an evolving project to make this into one of the best and most unique street biased PD’s in terms of performance and aesthetics; The PD version is most sought after versus the standard GS due to it’s solo seat with huge luggage rack and 9 gallon gas tank. The bike is in beautiful condition with 35,000 miles on it with the following modifications and upgrades:
Mechanical/engine:
-dual plugged cylinder heads; vintage /5 valve cover conversion.
-high compression pistons/ mild race cam from San Jose BMW.
-38mm dellorto carburetors with a tomasselli throttle conversion.
-higher 5th gear installed in transmission.
-custom ceramic coated exhaust system using a Conti exhaust pipe; incredible sound.
-high output Motarrad elektric alternator/stator.
-upgraded starter motor.
This engine set up is about the most that can be done to an air head bmw for street performance with great reliability; runs incredibly strong with a great hit at 5,000 rpm and never any oil leaks. The dellorto carburetors eliminate the slow throttle response of
the stock vacuum Bing carburetors.
Chassis/cosmetics:
-Works suspension rear shock/ progressive springs in front.
-trick custom 6 piston “Billet 6” brand front brake caliper with floating disc.
-fairing tubular steel frame has been ceramic coated.
-higher tinted windscreen.
-heated grips.
-custom seat cover.
-accessory outlet.
-aluminum handlbars with risers.
-Tusk hand guards with LED lights.
-daytime running light switch with two filament bulb conversion in front and rear turn
signal lenses.
-custom fabricated powder coated mounts with vintage “Buco” hard saddlebags. These
bags have been wired with integrated tail light and brake lights.
-all of the original white paint has been changed to a satin black. There are some paint
touch ups and scratches but all very minor. The largest blemish is a scratch on one of the red side covers.
-Pirelli tires are almost new.
The bike comes with original toolkit/service manuals, olfman enduro tank bag and many receipts for work that was performed on the bike. I also have the original starter motor, tator, ing carbs,etc. so bringing the bike back to stock if desired is possible. I also have a deep sump oil pan that has never been installed and the stock luggage mount brackets with one Moto Sport Panniers aluminum box. The only flaws to the bike is that the odometer has stopped working about 500 miles ago (speedo works) and there is also some minor flaking of the ceramic coating on one of the header pipes.
