BMW R80 1985

This is an excellent 1985 BMW R80. Starts and runs perfect. Smooth idle. Handlesfantastically. Transmission shiftsmoothly through all gears. Looks amazing for the year.Tank has nice shine with beautiful original paint and hand pinstripes. Has a couple tiny dings but overall the bike looks fantastic.
I purchased thisfrom the original owner who took meticulous care of this bike until he stopped riding in 97 and let it sit. I restore vintage BMW's andthis one is just too nice to touch so I tuned and am selling as is.
We did an overall inspection and tune including head torque, alve adjustment, arburetor sync, imingadjustment, ilter replacement, luid change of engine, ransmission, inal drive, rive shaft, nd forks.Everything was inspected and functions as it should.
The previous owner said he replaced thetiming chain before parking it. Generally after 60K thesemachines make some chain clatter.This one sounds nice and tight.
Comes with a clear California title in my name in non operational status so no back fees.
The only thing I would recommend would be new tires. These will do fine for a while but always nice to upgrade to new. I've decided tolet the buyer get tires since everyone hastheir own favorite type. I can help set the bike up with tires for new buyer for cost.
