This bike was under cloth cover in a heated basement for last 28 years. Mechanically is perfect as it just left factory yesterday. When warm up and running in idle, t is dead silent even when clutch is pulled; the comment was given “It ran like an electronic motor!!” . If you unmolested R65L, his is the textbook example. This bike has original EPA SMOC control, riginal tire ( rims have no tire rod mark indicated no tire changed and still has original factory tires). wires are clean and unmolested! inside tank is MINT!! Therefore, e decided leave this beautiful patina along and focused on the mechanic. And the new owner can ride while do the cosmetic as his/her choose. We have gone through the whole bike with our high standard shop ready for road service, orks performed were as followed: New sealed Battery, ew coil, ew Bulbs. New Disk pads, ew fuel lines. Cleaned/Re-built both carburetors with new gaskets. Service the hydraulic and change brake fluid Safety checked/re-torqued on every single nuts and bolts on the whole bike. Re-adjusted front brake setting. Ensured all the wiring/lights functional. Re-set valve gaps to spec. Re-set ignition timing/gap. New spark plugs. Serviced horn. Replaced all fluids (TWICE) (Engine, ransmission, riveshaft, nd final drive). Cleaned/lubed all the cables. This bike wears this 40 years old patina paint lost, nd paint touch ups, nd there is crack on top of left case ( should be easily plastic welded) .
