1985 BMW R80 BLACK

Unfortunately she's got to go. as I've not used her for the last year (job commitments!). Slightly tatty - the tank had to be replaced with a second hand one recently as the original rusted badly. She could do with some TLC that I am unable to give her. Mechanically sound. full stainless exhaust. stainless pushrod tubes. had new piston rings when fitting the pushrod tubes about 5000 miles ago (bores were perfect. rings would have gone again but silly not to change them!). She runs well. no smoke or nasty noises. Included are the Krauser panniers and all the bits to fit a second disc at the front - which would be beneficial - a pair of overhauled callipers. disc (standard one - the one fitted is a Motorworks cast iron one. so it would need to go to them for modification) and cross connection pipe. She would do as a winter hack. or a project to be revealed in all her glory next summer. I'll be sorry to see her go - but at the moment she is taking up space and I can't use her.
