BMW R1200GS 2008, FULLY LOADED, ONLY 13K MILES! TAX/MOT. STUNNING BIKE!!

Sadly. for sale is my beautiful motorcycle. Over the last thirty years I have owned 32 motorcycles and this is by far is the BEST motorcycle I have ever owned! It inspires confidence on any kind of road. in any kind of weather. It handles like a dream and has never left me feeling compromised. Yes it's a big bike. but it never feels like it when you're on the move. It can scratch. tour. potter about. eat motorways for breakfast. twistys for lunch and be home in time for dinner. I have owned this bike for 3 years. having bought it from my best mate when he upgraded to a new one. ( God knows why ). The bike is in perfect condition. it's not a daily driver and in fact has only been used twice this year. Once to Lands End and just last month a trip to the Highlands. John O Groats. Cape Wrath. Lochness and back to Kent. So. low mileage - 13647 miles. Taxed until end of Nov 2013. MOT until 5th July 2015. Full service history. old MOT's. receipts etc etc. BMW owners manual. New tyres were fitted last May. the old ones having completed 10. 00 miles. These have done approx 3500 miles. so plenty of life in them. FULLY LOADED! - Here's what you get:-Touratech front mudguard beak - fitted new last year. Touratech mesh headlight grille - fitted new last yearNippy Norman front fender extender lower. Nippy Norman rear hugger. Sergeants Seat front and rear sections - The Ultimate in bike comfort ( never had a numb bum ). Akrapovic silencer with removable baffle ( baffle always removed - sounds fantastic but still legal ). I have the baffle. Garmin Zumo 660 SatNav wired into the bike with I think Touratech mount. Engine casing protectors. Full set of BMW Expanding Luggage WITH expanding inner bags ( in perfect condition ) all locked with the same ignition key. Two keys - one never used. High Intensity headlight bulb fitted plus a spare bulb. Excellent headlight. The bike is factory fitted with ABS and ESA (Electronic Suspension Adjustment). The ESA is awesome! You can adjust whilst on the move from Normal to Comfort to Sport. It can be set up for Solo. Solo with Luggage. Two Up. Two Up with luggage. It really makes a difference. Bike is scratch free with just one little paint wear mark on the right hand side under the front indicator. It came like it so no idea how it happened. It's on a plastic part so it's not going to rust. The Garmin Zumo comes with it's original box plus a load of accessories to fit it into a car. boat etc. Mains charger. car charger. USB lead. I do have to state here ( as I like to be honest ) that it has worked faultlessly. even all through the Highlands. I put it away on my return in it's protective zip up box and when I fitted it to the bike last Saturday it just kept "Searching for Satellites". It may be a software issue as I've not updated the maps since owning the bike. PLEASE BE AWARE of this. It works but not as it should. Now. you may be wondering why on earth would I want to sell such a fantastic machine? The fact is. I don't! However. and this is the "sadly" bit. I have a worsening health issue which is preventing me from riding ANY motorcycle. I've put up with it for a couple of years but can no longer take the pain and discomfort and so I must give up my beloved motorcycling. NOTE. NOTE. The bike is due it's annual service and I have it booked for Tuesday 14th October. I will not let this bike go until this has been done as I want it to be in the order I would expect to buy it!
