Description

Good original condition; matching numbers; runs excellent; all paint original except fairing.   Has wear and scratches but not dinged up.   Seat pan is rough but cover and cowl are fine.   Tach squeals when cold. Serial number puts it near the end of production`      I owned this bike in the 90's for several years and took it on long trips out west a couple of times. I sold it to a close friend who rode it for several years and then put it in storage when he moved out of state for a job. It then sat for about 12 years and he unfortunately passed away late this spring. I bought it from his family and it needed quite a lot of work. I replaced the ignition switch (key lost). put in new points. plugs. air filter. battery and starter relay. I dumped and rinsed out the old gas. rebuilt one of the petcocks. cleaned the carburetors. replaced their o rings and fuel lines. timed it. set the valves. and changed all fluids. I had to rebuild one front caliper. put in new front pads and replace and bleed new fluid. I also replaced a fork seal and drained and refilled the forks. I changed the front wheel (dented) and put in new bearings and set preload.         In addition to the owners manual. side covers. bent rear signal bar and lights and the tatty original style mirrors that came with it. I have two extra wheels. one dented but with a good tire. the other with an excellent rim. and an alloy triple clamp. The bike has Koni rear shocks. black Mac exhaust. bar end mirrors. and short cafe-style rear signals. It is missing the tool kit and the tank bag in some pictures doesn't come with it.         The bike now starts instantly. pulls strong. and I've put about 1000 miles on it since returning it  to the road a couple of months ago. You could ride it. cafe it. or restore it. I have a low reserve and want it to go to a good home. Good luck on your bidding.
