1998 BMW MAROON

I bought this Bike 3 years ago and have kept it at my home in the South West of France since then. I have used it to tour Spain. Italy and France as well as to ride round my own area in the Pyrenees.

It is a fabulous bike and I am only selling it as my wife prefers our Goldwing and I also have a Yamaha Wildstar to play with. so it does not get a lot of use. I had sold it on EBay earlier this year but discovered a leak in the radiator so I cancelled the sale and have since replaced both radiators. She is running very smoothly now. As bikes do not need an MOT in France and there is no road tax here. the bike has neither. It is still registered in the UK and is currently sorned.

The bike must be collected from France and I will happily collect the buyer from either Biarritz or Lourdes - both of which have cheap Ryanair flights and in the case of Biarritz there may also be an Easyjet flight.

I am selling the bike on a first come first served basis at a fixed price of 2. 00 pounds. to be paid in either sterling or Euros on collection ( 200 pound deposit required within 24 hours or I will relist the bike).

The return ride to the UK can be via Santander 5Spain) and then Ferry or north through France to any of the usual ports or even the Eurotunnel. I have made the journey many times and it is an easy one.

I forgot to add. I have a large folder of previous MOTs and bills. plus I replaced both tyres 5K miles ago and have had the brake disks and drums overhauled in the last two years. It has been serviced twice in France during my ownership and I changed the oil 2 K miles ago. The heated grips don't work but I live in the south of France so it does not matter and the only noticeable body panel issue is a crack that happened near the crash bars when I stood on it accidentally ( I have been looking on the internet for a replacement but it is neither that visible nor a safety issue so there is no rush).

I don't need to sell this bike but with two others it just does not get used enough and I prefer to ride with my wife so the Goldwing stays :-)
