1994 BMW K75RT BLUE

For sale is a well looked after K75 in excellent mechanical condition. I bought it in 2012 after my previous bike (also a K75) was stolen and I'm selling it because since having a baby end of last year I haven't ridden it and it's just taking up space in the garage. I have service and MOT history since 35000 miles and it has been well looked after. since I bought it this is what I've done:Replaced all oils and filtersReplaced gearbox with box from low mileage K1100 (original was notchy)Replaced clutch cable and brake padsReplaced worn alternator alloy cup and rubbers (alternator is 50A)Dismantled and cleaned starter motor and checked brushesReplaced worn final drive and shaft with unit from K100 in excellent condition and regreased with moly every 6 months. (this raises gearing very slightly and drops cruising revs making it much more pleasant to ride)Replaced battery with a BMW gel batteryFitted nice bright Xenon headlampIt behaves impeccably- starts straight away and without any smoke. no pops or bangs on the overrun and no nasty surprises. Cosmetically it certainly looks its age but it's been well used so it's nothing out of the ordinary and there is no significant rust anywhere to worry about. Tyres are Contis on the front and BT45s on the rear. both with plenty of life left. This would make a perfect winter bike- the screen and fairing work well. there are leg vents which blow the warm air from the engine over your shins (sounds crap but it's very effective!) and it has the original heated grips.
