For sale is my fantastic R1150R Rockster 80th Anniversary edition with genuine BMW rare certificate. I am only selling this as I am looking to buy a new GS and I can't have another bike in the garage. This Rockster is in good condition for its age and it has just over 30k miles (this may go up slightly depending on the weather). This bike is used but not for commuting just for fun. It has some wear and tear in places but nothing too bad. it doesn't have the usual BMW engine corrosion! The only real part of the bike which I was planning to do was to remove and repaint the front lower yoke as its flaking off. Lovely bike that gets lots of attention. you don't see many Rocksters on the road and even less of the black and white 80th editions. I had a bad back earlier this year so I changed the height of the handlebars and it's now very comfy! You can literally ride all day and not feel any aches and I'm 6ft 4! I have the genuine BMW certificate with its number in it as there were only 2003 of these bikes ever made worldwide. I have also got the genuine BMW sales brochure. It comes with service history back to 2006 as it was purchased by a previous owner from BMW as an approved used bike. I have service history since but it's not all BMW. This year I have had Balderstons BMW in Peterborough replace the rear wheel bearing and the diff seal ring. It's had new brake pads all round and I brought a set of Michelin Road Pilot 3 which have had around 2k miles on them so they have plenty of tread left. It had ABS originally but this removed before I brought the bike. if you know BMW 1150's this is a very common fault. I generally ride when the weather is nice but I have been caught in rain. but the bike has always been washed. ACF50'd and garaged when it gets home. It has lots of extras listed below:Wunderlich front screen (best looking one for the Rockster IMHO and does a surprisingly good job of keeping the wind off!)Hand GuardsHeated GripsCenter Stand (not standard on the Rocksters!)Remus Evolution Exhaust with removable baffleDe-catHID headlight (only main beam)Bar risersR1150R handlebars (original bars with come with it too)Cylinder head protective coversFender ExtenderCarbon Fibre Rear HuggerSide Panniers - average condition (one of the panniers lock has broken. £50 fix from Motorworks but I've just used to zip tie when needed)I'll even throw in the Haynes Manual. Current MOT is good until the end of Jan 2015. Top box rack in photo will not be sold as this is on loan from a mate. 2 keys for the bike which also lock the panniers. I've tried to describe the bike the best I can but it is 11 years old so it's not perfect! Happy to arrange viewings if required. This is a very genuine bike and one I would happily take across Europe tomorrow without a second thought. I'm in no rush to sell so please no silly offers and sorry but I won't ship overseas. Thanks for looking.
