BMW R65LS Cafe Racer - Lovely Classic Bike, Ready To Go

BMW R65LS Cafe Racer. A great little bike which (due to the bars and silencers) can be ridden all day without breaking your back or making your ears bleed).  Very light and compact. Being an LS it has the nicer wheels. twin front Brembo brakes and larger rear drum. Brakes are very good and it is surprisingly quick and agile. Simple to service and maintain. this little bike would take you round the world if you so wished. I wanted to build a useable bike which retained its character. so no cosmetic work has been undertaken other than thorough cleaning. As a result. the swinging arm and surrounding frame tubes have some surface corrosion (they all do). and the bike has a 'nicely used' overall patina. 6 months MOT and 5 months tax means that it is ready to ride home. The Acewell speedo/dash is superb and works brilliantly (highly recommended). Half the starting price of a decent British 650 and about 20 times more rideable and reliable.
