2003 BMW R 1150 GS ADVENTURE SILVER

For sale we have my 2003 BMW R1150 GS Adventure. The bike is in good condition for its age.   It has been used. so there are the sort of signs of use you would expect from a bike of this age. This is the non - ABS Model. which is the one to buy if you like to maintain your bikes yourself!  The bike has heated grips; front spotlights and crash-bars. I have added a higher touring screen. which is great and wind deflectors on the hand shields.   It comes along with BMW black plastic panniers.    I added a Touratech back rack to the bike. as I prefer this to a back box - can fit more luggage on!  This also meant that the rear grab rail could be refitted. When I bought the bike it did have a back box on it. which wasn't a BMW one. but I will include this in the sale. if wanted. I also have a low seat for the bike. which I actually prefer. as the bike is heavy and I like to know that I have my feet firmly on the ground. The standard seat. in the photographs. does have a small tear (although it is not all the way through) as shown in the photographs. The bike has been serviced by me since I bought it in 2011.   Before that there was a bit of service history.   It is a good solid bike. that runs really well. There's not a lot else to say about it.   These are great bikes if you're doing the touring miles - but I'm not anymore - hence the sale.
