BMW K1200GT SE 2006

Hi and welcome to the auction for my much loved but now replaced K1200GT.

The spec ?ˆ“ ABS. ESC. Traction Control. Cruise Control. Zenon Headlight. Servo Brakes. Heated Grips and Seats. Alarm.

The brakes having being servo assisted and with ABS are incredibly powerful and they need to be because this bike is quick. 150 BHP and 160 MPH quick. Not that you can use this performance on the road Officer :)

Heated grips and seats keep you cosy warm on the coldest days and to discourage some toe-rag from stealing your pride and joy. it has an alarm. The electrically operated bigger V-stream screen deflects much more air than the standard and if you wish you can sit in still air. Comfortable for 2 people over long distances the panniers and top box hold a prodigious amount of luggage. Liners are included as is a tank bag.

On to the mechanicals ?ˆ“ The bike appears to have been serviced and maintained by BMW dealers on a continued extended warranty up to at least 42k and May 2011. A pile of invoices backs this up. After this it was serviced by

I then bought the machine and had it serviced by Scriminger Engineering @ 52667 (07/02/14) at which it had

Both ball-joints in the front suspension done

Full service inc. Spark plugs & Valve clearances

New front wheel bearings were fitted at 51. 25

New Odyessy battery in November 2014

The overall condition I would say is good with some stone chips on the paintwork ?ˆ“ it is 8 years old and has done 57k! The only non-mileage related mark is. I believe. on the left hand fairing which I have pictured.

The bad bits :-

There is a brake warning light on the dash. This is only because I have removed the low brake pad warning wiring and could probably be reset by a BMW dealer. I went to change the pads but they were very little worn when compared to new.
