BMW R1100RT, late 1997 with luggage

 BMW R1100RT with genuine 136. 00 miles on the clock. Previous owner used it for daily commuting between Canfield and London. clocking up 10. 00 miles for each of the last 4 years he owned it. It clocked up most of the miles on the M1 into and out of London. Hence the scuffs and corrosion from regualr use throughout the year. It's not done a lot of miles over the last year as I got this one as an introduction to big touring bikes. Selling this one. so I can buy a newer big tourer. Very comfortable to ride around the country lanes as well as cruise on the motorway. MOT until 29th Jan 2015 Tax until 31 July 2015Good tyres Recent brake pads all round Full hard luggage (top box takes a full face helmet) Adjustable screen and seat heightHeated gripsThere is a partial service history. the most recent invoice showing a service 18 moths ago at just over 132. 00 mile at which oil and filter. gearbox and final drive oil and brake fluid were changed and tyres replaced. Engine. clutch and gearbox all running well and pulls well through all the gearsABS works when batter kept charged. There are many minor blemishes on the bodywork. overall the condition is commensurate with a bike of this age and mileage. Some rusting of the frame and most of the paint has come off the cylinder heads. Front wheel has slightly distorted bead rim. advised on last 2 MOTs but testers both considered not significant.
