1997 BMW K1100 RS Touring, 41000 miles, ABS, new tires, NO RESERVE!

 Up for auction at no reserve is a 1997 BMW K1100 RS. I bought this a year ago as a project. I put a new float sensor in the tank. new $140 exhaust valve. new head gasket. new oil filter. and two brand new tires on it. Runs great. with 41000 original miles. ABS model. New fluids all the way around. The tires have less than 100 miles as of this writing. but I still ride it. Has trunk and saddle bags in decent shape. 5 speed. Starts right up. So I will focus on the bad things so you know what you are bidding on. There are paint chips on the left front of the fairing. Scratches on the whole bike. cracks on the airbox-to-carb connections. Seat has some cracks from sitting in the sun. I had trouble with the fuel pump. so I wired it with a toggle switch to manually turn on. so unless you know the secret. nobody could steal it. The gauges on the left and right fairing don't work. no radio. and probably a couple running lights need attention. Master brake cylinder leaks but works fine - probably needs to be replaced. Has original tool kit. Turns and brake lights work. Not sure if heated grips work. I took it for a hundred mile ride yesterday and had a blast. It runs strong. I just have to raise some money quickly. so my loss is going to be your gain. Buyer agrees to pick bike up. and agrees to take it as is. I have a clean title in my name (actually I just registered it. so the title isn't here yet - it should be by the end of the auction). BMW makes a wonderful machine that almost anyone can work on.
