1994 BMW R1100RS - Well Maintained **NO RESERVE**

You are bidding on 1994 BMW R1100RS -  This bike is mechanically sound.   I have done all the maintenance. and I am meticulous about it.   I go on long trips and I don't want to break down.   I would not hesitate to jump on this bike and ride it across the country.   I have owned many BMW's. airheads and oilheads. and have always done my own maintenance.   I use Amzoil products for the differential. and transmission. and Castrol for the engine oil.   This bike is going to need a front tire.   If you plan on picking it up and riding it home. I would suggest you let me put a tire on it before you arrive.   I can work something out with the winning bidder as to the cost if they want me to put one on.   I didn't put a tire on before the sale. because people generally like a specific brand of tire. and I figured the winning bidder could put whatever tire on he chooses. instead of me deciding. The bike has scratches on the right valve cover.   I purchased the bike this way and have put over 20. 00 miles on it with no issues. The valve cover works fine. but the bike was probably dropped at one point. This is a strong running R1100RS. I had a R1100S and this bike is faster. not sure why. but it just runs and is very comfortable on long trips. There is nothing mechanically wrong with this bike. I am simply selling it. because I have 2 bikes and a 2 year old son.   I much rather spend time with my son. then ride all day like I used to. but I am still keeping one bike. :) A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of the close of the auction.   If for some reason you can not take possession of the the bike. I will refund the $500 minus the listing fee.   If I put a front tire on the bike for you. and you do not close the deal the $500 will NOT be refunded. The bike is located 15 mins from Harrisburg. PA. This bike is for sale locally I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. HOWEVER I will only end the auction if there are no bids.   If someone local wants to buy it. and there is a bid on the bike on Ebay. then I will NOT end the auction early. I will instruct the local buyer to bid. just like everyone else. since I think this the only fair way to do it.   The previous auction got ended early by accident. so I am reposting hopefully the last time.
