1995 BMW R1100RS SE RED/BLACK

For Sale My Brilliant  BMW R 1100 RS SE658 Marakesch RedBlack Seats Low Miles - 26. 08. at last months MOTBMW supplied the following from the Factory736- UK Export Packeage528- Adj H/Bar W/S. Seat Height535 - Riders Info Display524 - ABS 2533 - Full Fairing with Fork Slider681 - L & R Pannier Fastenings I have had since October 2011. (23K) and have had a great time with my first Boxer.  I have gone through the ownership and maintenance records which come with the bike and verified all critical matters firstly having Motorrad check it out. do a recall on it (Handlebar Mounting) and verify all the araes that can give trouble (Bearings etc ) were all good. I swapped seats for a Black set (not a fan of grey - and the rest of the detailing was black) and polished up the pair of Black BMW Panniers that are available if wanted - by negotiation. Receipts showing care and attention from its owners are all in a file and come with the Bike as does a Haynes Manual. I proactively serviced it with Cardiff Motorrad - (now Independent and very good) who similarly found little to fault and who serviced the bike comprehensively 24/11/2011. Since then I have ridden it lightly in fine weather. and its been checked over annually at MOT. Most recently last month where there were NO ADVISORIES. It has been a joy to own and ride - the motorcycle re-invented. Pure Riding Pleasure. the fairing giving you consummate protection at speed. A really great Sports Tourer with lots of life left in it. straightforward to maintain - hardly anything computerised - and lots of enthusiastic independent BMW service people to keep you motoring safely . It is view-able in SOMERSET 15 mins from J22 on the M5. I work from home so can show the bike most times. Its only being sold because I have always wanted a GS. Shame if I was sensible this would do me for years !Its a great low miles bike for some-one. If I was being picky I would probably notice the following - tyres may need replacement in a few months. some marks on the panniers. may polish out. a small number of grit chips easy to touch up. heat mark from the exhaust on the fairings. easy to sort - some corrosion on the original exhaust.  Overall it does polish up well though. Its advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Delivery - can be arranged if price agreed.
