BMW R1150GS 1150 GS. Adventure, Tourer. Yellow, Top Box, Panniers. Working ABS.

BMW R1150 GS Adventure TourerBMW R1150 GS. in general good condition for a 14 year old bike. As is common with this model. there is some flaking to the finish on the engine paint. front suspension wishbone and the fork paint. Apart from that the bike looks great. (I will get some more detailed pictures up later in the week. have been working and not had chance to get the bike out and take some good close ups). The bike has just under 40. 00 miles. not a great deal of miles for these bikes. This may go up very slightly. but it's not likely. The reason I purchased the bike was to do two up touring with my wife. She has now decided that she would like to ride a bike herself and so we don't need this type of bike and we would like to sell this to fund her test / bike. Earlier this year we had a holiday around Scotland. the bike performed faultlessly and was a dream to ride.  The bike is fitted with working ABS and braided steel hoses. I fitted the hoses myself in August. along with new front brake pads. brake fluid renewal. clutch fluid renewal. gearbox fluid. final drive fluid and an oil change before we went to Scotland. The bike has BMW history until 18. 00 miles. then lots of receipts and notes in the service book after that. It has BMW panniers that use the ignition key (much less faffing). I have 3 spare keys. It is fitted with a GIVI 46 ltr top box. enough for two helmets (depending on manufacturer / style / size). There is a USB charging point fitted discretely under the clocks and there is a BMW accessory socket. It has Michelin Anakee 3 tyres fitted. they were fitted around 1. 00-2. 00 miles ago and are brilliant in all weather conditions. I'd guess they have at least another 4k on the back and more from the front. In one of the pictures it has crash bars fitted. these are not included in the sale. It's one of those where I don't really want to part with the bike. but unfortunately I have to make room for my wife's bike.
