I have owned this bike since 2004.   It is an awesome motorcycle.   It has the eye-catching red. white. & blue flag color scheme which never fails to get attention.   It is in excellent mechanical condition and runs perfectly.     FEATURES:

*ROTAX engine made in Germany. which are known for being essentially bullet-proof.  *Continental TKC-80 dual sport tires - capable of handling any terrain. I still have the original tires. Metzlers I believe. with about 60%-70% tread remaining. I'm happy to throw those in gratis to whoever eventually buys this bike. *Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). There is a switch below the handlebar to disable ABS when riding offroad. *Tall windshield *3 keys *OEM aluminum bash plate plus tubular steel engine guard *Easily adjustable suspension for preload via knob on the right side. just below the seat. Best feature of all: THIS BIKE HAS LESS THAN 4000 TOTAL MILES SINCE NEW! This bike has thousands of miles (and smiles) left to give. Ninety percent of the time I rode it was on easy trails. keeping up with my 3 young sons on their dirt bikes. They are now almost grown and have lost interest in trail riding. and so I really haven't ridden this bike much lately. I occasionally ride it to work to keep things in working order. but as the odometer indicates. the bike hasn't been taken on any long distance road trips. Reason for selling: I'm getting a new bike. and simply don't have room for 2 in my garage. The bike has a clear title. and was just recently serviced with all-new fluids (oil. radiator. brakes). chain adjusted. and fuel system cleaned. It is ready to go. Cosmetically. there are a few nicks and scratches from riding the trails. all minor and hardly noticeable. There is a very small dent in the left exhaust can. which is not very obvious at all. Also. the high-beam flasher switch on the L handlebar broke. and since BMW doesn't sell that switch by itself. but rather only the entire cluster of switches as one unit. I replaced it myself and it works perfectly. See included photo. This would make an excellent first bike. or an excellent adventure bike for someone looking to explore roads less travelled.
