BMW K1200R *** 06 Plate 8000 Miles only...fantastic condition***

Here for sale is my BMW K1200R.

Its registered in August 2006 and has only covered 8085 miles!

I would describe the condition as immaculate. There are no scrapes. dents. scratches or other kind of damage that I can describe. For its age. its as close to pristine as you will find.

The only reason I am selling it is I need a bike for occasional use this winter and I just cant bring myself to use this one. Its only ever been used in the dry which explains the condition. It doesn't matter how well you clean and look after a bike. using it during the winter on salty wet roads. takes its toll!

The bike has full service history. all but one is BMW. The last was at 6157 miles which was the dealer I bought it from so it doesn't need a service for a few more thousand yet.

The MOT was carried out on 29/08/14 with no advisories.  

The bike also has some very nice & sought after extras:

* Akrapovic slip on exhaust. Supplied with the original unmarked exhaust.

* Full length belly pan. Not seen on many 12r's but looks superb and helps to protect the underneath and exhaust.

* Genuine BMW front sports screen.

* Wunderlich Ergo Adjustable mirror (right side). Gives a much better view behind for overtaking etc. Original supplied too.

* Genuine BMW extendable side panniers. These are excellent and I have used them a lot. They will extend out to carry a full face helmet. Being BMW they are superbly designed an easy to take off and put on.

* Rear hugger

* Clear tail light lens cover.

* Acerbis hand guards. I think they look great but can be removed.

* Soft foam grips. Really makes a difference to the grip comfort. They are just slipped over the original grip so again can be removed.

* Ill also include the paddock stand

These extras would cost over 2k if bought separate.

The bike runs superb! Starts on the button. (The battery is monitored with a trickle charger when not in use). No faults or warning lights. All electrics working as they should. heated grips are superb!

I have both keys (and the plastic spare they supply from new) and all of the required documentation (V5 / MOT / Handbook / All previous receipts and service history).

I have described the bike as best as I can but if you need any further info then give me a ring. Anyone interested will not be disappointed and Im confident that this is one of the best around! Its a genuine well looked after bike and rare with this low mileage.

Lastly Im prepared to put the original exhaust back on & reduce the price by £200 if required. Id recommend keeping it though as it sounds & looks awesome!
