BMW R1150 GS Adventure

BMW GS1150 Adventure. 2002 47. 22 miles. MOT until May 2015. Owned by me since early May 2007. Has 2 black BMW panniers and 2 keys. BMW heated grips. Hepco & Becker Engine protection bars. Remus exhaust. a tad fruitier than the standard. Full service history including very recent service. MOT till May 2015. Brand new back tyre (Metzeler Tourance). front tyre also Metzeler Tourance good for plenty more miles (3000-4000 I'd guess). Brand new battery (2 months ago). This bike is excellent for touring and has done many Euro jaunts without a hiccup. Downsides are the standard BMW engine and forkleg cosmetic corrosion. as well as some marks on the grab rail. Also. half inch tear on the upper front of the seat. I?ˆ™ve tried to show this in photos. Generally though. it scrubs up well and is a good. solid. honest bike that has served me well for 7 years. BMW mechanics and people in the know say these are better than the 1200. I haven?ˆ™t ridden the 1200 but these really are great bikes.
