BMW 1972 R60/5

This is a beautiful 1972 BMW R60/5 with fantastic original patina. Only 30K miles! Ready to ride. Super clean and original. Some minor scratches and dings from use. There is one small ding at rear of fuel tank near seat. Hard to see. Front fender has holes that have been filled where a fender plate was once mounted.  Starts and runs great. No knocking. Does not burn oil. The R60/5 is known for its smooth ride. All electrics work as they should. Good strong battery. Both electric and kick start. 4 speed transmission feels great and shifts well. Both speedometer and tachometer work well.  Just serviced. Fluids changed including filter. Head torqued. Valves adjusted. New ignition points. Timing set. This bike has always been well maintained. Recently replaced original center stand with modified reinforced and powder coated center stand. The original stands tend to crack causing bike to fall. These stands correct that issue and also set bike about 1/2" higher making it harder to knock over. Also replaced side stand with new. Dunlop tires have a good amount of tread. Some light cracking on side walls from storage. May want to replace.  I am happy to assist in shipping. Can transport to Los Angles port for international shipping.
