BMW R1100 'S'

Well. where to start. I purchased this bike in March this year. To be honest I bought it on a whim. I loved the aggressive. raw look of the S and initially wanted a Boxer Cup Replica. but couldn't find a nice one in my price range!So. I decided to go for the standard 1100S. and looked at about 5 before settling on this one. As you can tell by the photo's its a really clean example. having been fastidiously cared for by the previous owner. He sold it as it was too heavy for him. It is a beautiful looking bike. in the rare BMW 'Frost Blue' colour scheme. The bike has the full BMW tool kit. along with the original BMW puncture repair kit. which all looks like it has never been used!The bike benefits from a Remus exhaust "Y" piece. removing the cat which lowers the weight and free's the engine up. It goes like stink and has a lovely. non offensive exhaust note. The bike also has a BMW centre stand. BMW heated grips and is the NON-ABS model. This is a bonus as the BMW ABS system has its issues. rendering the bike's brakes ineffective. no problem for this bike. The photo's show luggage rails. which are no longer fitted. The bike DOES NOT come with panniers. I removed and sold them separately as I really thought the bike looked 'odd' with them on!So. why am I selling such a good bike? I have done 10 miles on it since I bought it. and cannot see me doing much more as I also have a BMW RT and a GS. which get all the usage.
