I purchased this RT back in 2011 from an official BMW Dealers showroom (Southport Super Bikes) ?ˆ“ since then NOTHING has gone wrong with it. With just over 21k miles on the clock it?ˆ™s at the start of its long life.

The bike has a comprehensive service history - last service 14th October 2014

As you can see from these dates the bike was hardly used between 2007 and 2011 due to the then owners illness. During this time it was mainly garaged. It was given a full service by Southport Super Bikes prior to my collection. Soon after purchasing I took it to a BMW dealer in Oxford for a check and road test (this being my first RT I wanted complete peace of mind) - it was considered perfect.

Overall a lovely machine which will doubtless please?ˆ¦it?ˆ™s 

Always been garaged Regularly polished Engine oil changed every 3k miles Well shod with Michelin Road Pilot 3 tyres MOT?ˆ™d until July 2015

Point of Note: Southport Super Bikes advised me that all BMW's of this period were only ever supplied with one key and a master key although they provided 2 x Key Fobs

Why am I selling?

My wife has a an ongoing knee problem (the result of a skiing accident 15 years ago) which is aggravated when touring. It means she cannot accompany me on trips so I am downsizing to a smaller bike for local journeys.
