2011 BMW G 650 GS 650 cc single cylinder MOT 1 owner 2000 mile engine fitted

   BMW G650GS    BMW brought back this real 650cc single tall-rounder after the confusingly named 800cc twin '650'. The fuel injected 650 single was always a favourite bike with novice riders and those who want BMW quality in a more manageable package. which also makes them very popular city and commuter bikes. An upright position but with a low seat height for this style of bike. the big bars and long travel suspension make it a brilliant bike around town with all the pot holes and speedbumps.                                                         This bike has only had one owner from new (Coopers BMW) and been regularly serviced which is a bit academic as it has 32K on the speedo but has been fitted with a low mileage (2000 miles) replacement engine. The original engine was fine and ran nicely except that it had a cheap/split link drive chain that came off and damaged the output shaft. Rather than rebuild it. a complete low mileage engine was sourced from a dealer and was simply a 'plug and play' into this bike. suffice it to say. the motor sounds. feels and looks like new as it's barely run in. The rest of the bike is still in great condition with BMW's excellent build quality and materials with only a couple of minor signs of use and one crack on the left fairing. The consumables are in good order with new rear pads and HD O-ring chain and sprockets.   All ready to go with MOT untill next October. it comes with the owner's manual/service book.
