1982 BMW R 100 RS Red Smoke New Paint

This 1982 R 100 RS is in excellent condition with a little under 48. 00 miles. The paint is brand new. It has not been ridden since being repainted to the original paint code 508. which is the desirable Red Smoke . In the last 100 miles it has had the carburetors reconditioned with new parts from Max BMW including all new gaskets. o-rings. diaphragms. main jets. float needles. nbsp;and floats. At the same time the valves were adjusted and a new rear Michelin Pilot Activ installed.

Engine: 1000cc with 40mm Bing carburetors. cranks and starts first time. Runs perfectly with no issues.

Transmission: 5 speed. shifts great. no slippage in clutch.

Brakes: Dual disc front Ate with rear disc Ate. both hydraulically actuated and functioning flawlessly. The pads and rotors have plenty of life left

Suspension: Rear shocks updated to Konis.

Body: No damage. no body filler. brand new paint. The paint is Dupont brand base coat/ clear coat. The pin stripes are painted on and are under the clear coat so no problems with future deterioration. It has been wet sanded and buffed to a high luster. The tank interior is in excellent shape. There is no rust and it has been lined.

Tires and wheels: Factory snowflake wheels. rear Michelin with less than 100 miles. front Metzler with less than 1500 miles

Accessories: Comes with the original factory tool kit and hard cases. There are some cracks on the cases. However. they still latch to the bike. open and close correctly. and come with keys.
