BMW R 1100 GS in superb condition.

                                 For sale my beautiful BMW R1100 GS in superb condition and in the best colour available. Like many top quality BMW R1000 Paris Dakar bikes that were imported from Germany over the last few years this bike really is a credit to its former original German owner.

                        The bike came into the U. K early last year when the original owner moved to the U. K for work and was then registered here and later part exchanged for a new BMW GS. Bike has had a recent service with new tyres and a good quality battery and starts and run really well and comes with as new soft panniers and top bag and a as new tank cover. Forgot to mention the bike come with a slightly smaller number plate as well as the original and a fly screen for taller riders.

                              Thanks for all the comments and emails about the bike. Just a quick update for now regarding the photos. yes the main stand and side stand are now fully repainted as some of the photos were older and showed the bike before I got around to repainted it and the bike is corrosion free. I had a feeling one or two of you would point that out.

                              I have owned 3 different BMW's bikes over the years and this is the second German import as they seem to just be better looked after. Thanks again Jay.

Hello. Answer to one question I get ask a lot. yes the bike does have heated grips but as is normal with Bmw they don't give off a lot of heat. cheers Jay.

Hello once more. I keep getting ask the same question if I'm a dealer and the answer to that is No. I am just like the rest of us and sell a bike to finance the next and so on and so on. I do have one golden rule which is the buy only bikes that I like and that wont lose much money (if any) when I decide to sell.

                                The GS is one of those type of bike that will hold its value for many years if kept in the same condition as it is now and may increase in value if to take into consideration what the Paris Dakar R1000 are now selling for. I am away for the weekend so wont be around to answer question's but will be back later on Monday.

Hello again.

                    A new week so more work to do. As I had a bit of spare time this morning and as a good will gesture to the bike's new owner (come the end of the auction) I decided to drop the engine oil out and replace the filter as the oil had started to lose that new oil look though the engine site window.

            Well it took a little longer than I thought it would as the crash bars had to be removed before I could get to the engine crash plate and then to the oil filter itself. but I got there eventually and now its has a fresh filter and nice new oil. while I was there I checked the plugs which are fine and also the air filter and that's like new so no need to change that at present.

              I will probably take it out for the day tomorrow or Wednesday depending on the weather before giving it yet another clean latter in the week. cheers for now. Jay.
