Hands down easily the best looking oilhead ever built and quite possibly the most pleasing lines ever created on a BMW.   This bike will outshine anything within 50' in the parking lot. on the ferry. at the breakfast meet up spot and will make any modern japanese bike look like a cheap washing machine at a yard sale.

These motorcycles are quite rare and are climbing in the ranks of the modern collectable.  This particular example has newer Metzeler Z8s (less than 3K). I added a Shorai lightweight battery MV peg lowering kit. Heli Bar risers and Puig screen with a Laminar Lip. It has a Laser exhaust. wide rear tire. hugger. ABS and 39K miles. It also has a Power Frk module and I added StompGrip traction pads to the stock tank pads. I have many receipts from the previous owner and all for the parts I installed. Extra parts include stock lenses. air filter. exhaust. toolkit. bar ends with cruise control (Throttlemeister). pillion pad and a couple other small things. These bikes are remarkable.   Based on style alone. you could buy this and feel good about it. But. after all it's a motorcycle and it is a very competent one. Rock solid and stable. fast. smooth and completely predictable. Factory OHLINS suspension front and rear.   Excellent brakes and a fantastic exhaust note is just bonus material.   This is a very capable and comfortable sport touring bike that is ready for a fly and ride.  This particular example is very clean and well maintained. I have detailed it after every ride and changed the oil 400 miles ago. Overall. I would say it is an 9 out of 10 cosmetically with very minor scratches. scuff marks and one piece of cracked plastic out of sight and it has to be pointed out. To clear the Puig screen. I carefully dremeled the little arm of the red kill switch on the right bar. It still functions. you just have less leverage with the little leg gone. It starts. runs and pulls through all the gears perfectly. It has had the fuel pump recall done and I should note at this time that the fuel strip (gauge) does not work. The low fuel indicator/computer still functions normally.   Brakes are fresh. tires are good. oil just changed.     I can deliver anywhere in NYC. LI. CT. MA. NH. VT and lower ME.
