BMW R1100S Sports Tourer

Here I have my wonderful BMW R1100S. I will be very sad to see her go. She is  stable - TeleLever suspension.  quick - 1085cc fuel injected boxer twin.  excellent brakes - Brembo and has been totally reliable - BMW. She has a wide section rear wheel/tyre as part of the optional sports pack which means that she does not have a centre stand but comes with an easy to use single handed paddock stand - German original which makes maintenance easier. She is fitted with a seat cowl and still has her original under seat tool kit together with puncture repair kit and BMW handbook. Lots of past paperwork too. She has the following BMW options:- heated grips. the reliable anti lock braking system. sports pack (wider rear wheel/tyre and yellow suspension) hard luggage and soft tank bag. She has the standard carbon fibre front mudguard and a carbon fibre Ilmberger hugger to the rear plus cylinder head protectors. As shown on the photos she has the standard BMW detachable. lockable (uses the the same key for seat. luggage and ignition) hard luggage panniers plus the expandable soft BMW tank bag (I seem to have misplaced one of the fitting straps to the front. it can still be used but it means it is slightly less quickly detachable) She comes with 2 keys. I have just put a new MOT on her for her new owner (no advisories) her road tax runs out at the end of November. She has travelled just over 51000 miles in her 15 year life which is really hardly anything for one of these bikes. Tales of huge miles on one of these motors have been reported! Incredible engineering. The unfortunate reason for sale is due to my health. which now limits my ability to ride. she deserves to find a good home and to be ridden often.
