Welcome to my auction for my bike. This bike is a 2002 model single spark with switchable ABS (the pick of the bunch) I bought it in April off 76 year old who had decided it was too big for him to manage. he had the bike for ten years. purchased as an approved used bike from BlueBell Crewe. The exact mileage but it stands at 26. 42 with old MOT's to verify. Some great extras on the bike include the system panniers matched with the ignition key. ABS. heated grips. alarm. baglux tank bag. Remus Y piece (the original cat is supplied with the bike and has never been on. touratech crash bars and locking oil filler cap. I have the owner?ˆ™s books. spare keys and the tool kit is present. I?ˆ™ve used the bike for a two up trip to Scotland with my wife and a few days around Norfolk and a bit of bobbing about on a pleasant evening. When I bought it I fitted new Michelin tyres. not because the old ones were worn down but because the rubber had gone off through lack of use. The bike was fully serviced by Adventure Bike Warehouse in Manchester including throttle bodies. valve clearances. and gear box. FD and engine oil. The auxiliary belts have been replaced. There's a comprihensive history file with the bike including the owners manual. invoices and the original owners service card. The toolkit is present. I looked long and hard for a good one and this was the best I found. It has a few little marks as you?ˆ™d expect of a bike of this vintage but none of the corrosion around engine and pitted wheels. I?ˆ™m very fussy about my bikes and that?ˆ™s why I spent ??550 the week I bought it with ABW and having new rubber. The bike is HPI clear and needs for nothing. it rides superbly with no faults. I'm only selling as I've bought another BMW but in my opinion the 1150 is the best of the breed and the build quality knocks spots off the later bikes.
