1978 BMW R100S up for auction. This is a clean and original BMW. It has been parked for sometime. This is a running project bike. It will need a good sorting. Definitely needs a battery. good carb cleaning/rebuild. a good gas tank cleaning. and a full brake system service. The bike has almost 29000 miles on it. I have no idea how many owners. This BMW came along with a collection of bikes and parts we purchased from an estate. There is a clear Texas title for this motorcycle. The VIN number is R100S6163384. We did the bare minimal to get this bike to start and run. There is a video of it running below. It needs further carb work. it does not run well without the choke. We used an auxiliary battery and fuel bottle to get it started. The battery in it is dead and the fuel tank needs a good cleaning. This is project. There are some scratched and wear on the bike.
