Description

Up for auction is a 1974 BMW R60/6 Motorcycle. It is an unfinished ?« BOBBER ?» project completed at 95%. This bike has been slightly modified to give it a ?« Bobber ?» or ?« Cafe Racer ?» look. I bought this unfinished project bike from a friend of mine among other bikes /2 he was selling in a package deal as he is too old to ride bikes now.   I have too many /2 projects on the go?ˆ¦ and this one will make another BMW enthousiast very happy.

The original seat has been replaced by a solo seat and the rear fender has been cut down a bit. NOTHING has been cut on the frame and the bike can easily be put back into original configuration.

The GOOD :

Inside of the fuel tank is perfect (NO RUST) both tires are in good condition. Engine has 41'000 km (25476 miles)  when stored in 2006 and was running strong Mufflers are in good condition

The BAD :

It has an oil leak on the front brake oil line (needs a new seal) Paint on fuel tank has two bubbles (paint has lifted from primer) Rear weel has some chrome chipping off and is rusted  through in a very small spot

The Bobber project has been built on a 1976 R75/6 frame and is registered as is. Some parts have not been installed yet but will be provided in a separate box ( horn. hydraulic steering damper).
