1968 R/60 US ! original estate/barn find classic beauty !!

Up for auction a 1968 original white R60 US model BMW twin. I recently purchased it. and recovered it from a nice heated barn belonging to the old fella that purchased it new's . son.  The gentleman rode it regularly took trips etc on it. up to the year before he passed away. The son couldn't bring himself to let it go for a little over 10 years. so there it sat. I found it approximately a year ago. and finally was able to buy it. I am not a BMW guy by any means but the owner definately was. and rode it and enjoyed it. I am selling it exactly as I found it. all I have done was literally just wipe it off. and place the tank and seat back on. The tank was stored properly and looks good inside and out. seat is almost like new. I have not and am not even messing with "getting it running". I was told it runs great by the son. and that his father maintained it well. I found no reason to doubt this. That said? If I do have to mess with firing it up. I will relist at a higher price. That said. I do know it kicks through nicely and sparks at both plugs. Bike is listed AS IS and Where IS . so you know. However I have to say. it is very original. and one of these can be restored a dozen times. but only original. once. Paint is stunning. not a show bike at all. but a really nice 7 or 8 overall. thats out of 10 guys. The rear fender. wiring and all before I put the tank and seat on were very original and unmolested. fender has a scuff where seat sits and thats it. The inside of the headlite bucket was also very nice. and truly. except for lite surface rust on wheel covers. overall appearance is beeeuuutiful. Wheels are very nice. appear alloy. original tire pump and tool kit was also there! Only thing missing is the key for tank compartment and fork lock.   There it is.  Any questions please email and I will try to answer. but again. please review pics. I have NOT detailed. painted. hell I barely wiped the dust off it! So nothing is being hidden or misrepresented here! This is what I do. I find. I buy. and I sell. Whatever.     Theres also luggage with this bike and no I am not bolting it on. but the following is included. "Wixom Bros" Ranger fairing trunk. crash guard looking mounts. wixom bags with mounts and also a Denfeld folding rack. All painted to match the bike! [see pics!] Was going to sell seperately. but since theyre the same color? They go with it. I told you the old man traveled!  Basically. again. just a good honest bike.       Terms are this. I have set a low reserve so it should sell. Winning bidder must deposit a non refundable 750. bucks in my paypal within 24 hrs and balance due on pickup or within 30 days. whichever comes first.
