2004 BMW R1150R Dark Ferro w/10,051 miles BMW side cases, touring screen

This is a very nice twin-spark R1150R in Dark Ferro which is an uncommon factory color made in 2004. Nicely optioned with ABS. center stand and heated grips and accessorized with BMW side cases w/ black reflective tape and Bungie Buddies. BMW luggage rack. BMW touring windscreen. BMW valve cover protectors. aftermarket protection bars. ZTechnik carbon fiber tank protector and Wunderlich tall handle bars (the stock handlebar is included as well). The 12. 00 mile service has been completed ahead of time (at 9. 39 miles) and the final drive seal. big bearing and pivot bearings were replaced at that time. A new BMW gel battery was also installed at 9. 39 miles. New long-wearing Metzeler ME880 tires on the front and rear. Receipts for the described work go with the bike; the 12. 00 mile service was completed by an authorized BMW retailer and the tires were mounted by an independent motorcycle repair shop. The 12. 00 mile service included fresh fluids. new spark plugs. new air filter. valve adjustment and throttle body synchronization. Only 10. 51 miles and it is a twin-spark model and last of this generation motor. The bike runs strong and the tall bars and windscreen make for a comfortable ride. The bike is in very good condition but not perfect. It has a dent in the fuel tank on the upper left side but the paint is not chipped or cracked. This is the most noticeable blemish on the bike and there are a few marks on other areas of the bike due to age and use. Of course it is all cosmetic and does not effect how the bike runs or handles. There are three keys. owner's manual and factory tool kit included. It appears to have been well-kept and maintained throughout its life. I have it garaged and on a battery tender (not included) all the time and the fuel was treated with a stabilizer as I don't ride the bike often. There are no leaks from the motor. final drive or forks. The unique color set this bike apart from other R1150R's and the low miles and overall condition make this bike a very nice example.
