BMW 2002 K1200LTe top of the line Toscana Green Long distance Cruiser

For its age. this motorcycle is in excellent shape. It has been taken care of since it was new and every service and repair has been documented. I have purchased this vehicle new and used it in all long distance travels. It has hardly been driven in short distances or inter city commutes. After all these years it has only one scratch on the paint. Has no mechanical problems. All the accessories which came with the bike are operational. Radio. cruise control and etc. As extras. it has a Garmin Zumo 550 GPS mount and LED running lights.

Transmission and center stand assembly were replaced due to a mishap coming of a ferry boat where the center stand assembly caught on the ramp coming of the ship and damaged the transmission housing. The replacement parts came of a same year model LT and had 67000 miles on the odometer. Work was done at the BMW dealer in Chico. Ca. Rear end. after two repairs by dealers. one in Ca. and one in La. . was replaced with a brand new factory unit at the BMW dealer in Boise. Id. It has less than 18000 miles on it and still is under warranty till Aug of this year. Those were the two major repairs on the bike during its time in use.

Brakes are 50% used. Brake discs are good. Front forks has leaks and a minute leak in the front by the engine cover. Clutch disc and spring were replaced when transmission was replaced. Engine. trans and rear end has fresh oils. (Less than 1500 miles). Tires only have 2000 miles on the clock. Replaced in July 2014. New plug wires were replace with new plugs less than 4000 miles ago.

All and all the bike is ready to be taken on a trip. I purchased the bike new in Dec 2001 at the BMW dealer in Escondido. Ca. Right now it is parked at my residence. License plates have been put on Non Operational status and has no insurance. I would like to get paid cash and delivery methods can be discussed but expenses paid by the buyer. If required fees of the license could be paid and insurance bought by the new buyer and ridden out of here.
