2001 BMW F650GS Dakar with only 1209 original miles

2001 BMW F650GS Dakar with 1209 original miles. never abused. and minimally modified. I purchased this bike from the original owner a couple of years ago. with roughly 700 miles on it at the time. The bike has always been babied. garaged. and maintained. That said. I have not had that much time to ride the Dakar (obviously). but when I have. it has always been awesome. Great sounds. wonderful riding position. and a lot of fun. In the time that I have had the bike. I have done the following:A&S "The Big One" service kit installedShorai lithium ion battery w/ charger/keeperEBC front brake rotorDID gold chainPIAA's with custom mounts that I made (without modification to the motorcycle)SW-Motech center standDunlop 606 tires with about 150 miles on them. I have also removed some of the decals that originally came on the bike (personal taste). I painted the gauge surround and windshield matte black. and I also removed the skid plate/belly pan. To note. the decals are still available through A&S. as is the gauge surround. if you so desire to restore the original look. Included with the bike are new fork seals (uninstalled). the original brake rotor. the skid plate/belly pan. a Nelson-Rigg lightweight cover. and a very comprehensive service and repair CD. The Dakar is cosmetically and mechanically excellent. with only one tiny mark on the paintwork. left of the headlight. and one on the same side. but positioned at the saddle line. and practically unseen. Each mark is smaller than 1/2 a Tic Tac. and happened when the body panel slid off my work bench when I was replacing the battery.  Not the coolest story. but true.  Otherwise. I cannot imagine a nicer 2001 Dakar that has actually been ridden. This motorcycle is the real deal. a true collectors piece. Made in Austria. and built to celebrate the 1999 and 2000 BMW F650 Dakar victories. Please feel free to contact me with requests for additional photos and/or descriptive.
