This bike started as a 1985 BMW K100rt in good condition with only 25k miles. These engines are known to go over 300. 00 miles. no joke do some research this is a very fresh bike. Upgraded stainless steel brake lines front and rear. Bled brakes front and rear with new racing dot4 brake fluid. Changed the oil and filter 200 miles ago. Four new spark plugs at the same time. Recently had most of the rubber parts on the intake replaced. It had the splines serviced at the same time. New battery that was close to 200$I know there is a bunch of stuff im forgetting but see the pictures. The only orginal piece of body on this bike that remains is the gas tank. which is aluminum and in very good / clean condition. The original fairings have been taken off and this bike weighs  much less in its current state. It really woke the bike up with the reduced weight and feels much more responsive and quicker off the line. The gas cap opens with a special key that the previous owner made. the lock cylinder is not there. but the gas cap opens / shuts / seals and locks like it should. I did not install either of them . but I have four stubby led blinkers for the bike. as well as bar end mirrors. that will go to the buyer. The bike is still completely wired for signals just didnt install them. If you want me to install these and wire up the headlights I can for an extra 50$. Shoudln't take longer than an hour.  The last couple pictures are for reference only. they are of a bike that was built a while ago that this one was modeled after. They are to show the optional Trail tech speedo. and the riding position of the bike.
