2004 BMW R1150RTP Runs Great, Well Maintained

This auction is for my 2004 BMW R1150RT-P bike. The bike runs like dream. it needs nothing but a new rider. I am the second owner. the first owner was North Las Vegas PD and it was maintained regularly by good folks at Las Vegas BMW Motorrad. It had the clutch replaced at 35K miles with ceramic clutch. It grabs as new and probably will outlast the bike. (Ceramic clutch job done by BMW would set you back for over $2K).  The starter was replaced around that time.  I don't have records but all this can be verified with Las Vegas BMW with last 7 digits of the VIN.  The engine runs smooth and driveline has no leaks. slack. unusual sounds etc. ABS works great. the brakes have phenomenal stopping power. Michelin Pilot 2 tires have over 80% left. Heated grips. windshield adjust. lights. horn are all in working order. During the course of my ownership I regularly changed oil and filter. recently replaced the battery. replaced stick coils. adjusted valves and synchronized throttle body. I replaced fuel lines just in case. as I was planning for a ride to west coast. I have police crash bars and will give to the buyer. if desired. The bike has 58000 miles and this will go up slightly as the bike can be test-ridden. Unfortunately I don’t have radio box lid. The Givi base plate that is on radio box will be moved to my incoming R1200RT and not included in the sale.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that this is ex-police bike. It is in fantastic shape and has been maintained better than many “civilian” bikes. Ready for ride across the country.
