1967 BMW R69S, very original

This is a 1967 BMW R69S with vin # 662605. The BMW archive in Munchen confirmed this R69S was produced 01-17-1967 and shipped 01-30-1967to USA Importer Butler & Smith. Inc. this communication will go with the bike. All numbers match: frame. engine and id-plate. Odometer shows 61216 miles no records to verify if this is correct. This R69S has its original Heinrich tank with the red oxide paint inside. still looking like brand new and a Denfeld solo seat. It has a high lip Weinmann alloy rim up front with a steel Weinmann rim at the back. Both Bing carbies are the original and correct ones so is the air cleaner housing. Bike still has its original hydraulic steering damper. This BMW appears to be mostly complete except for the mufflers. battery and side-stand. No keys for tank or steering lock. I have never opened the tank compartment to see if the tool roll or booklet are hidden in there. It still has its original paint and pin striping however over the years it collected  some scrapes and scratches. The previous owner had the engine professionally rebuild by a BMW shop however I have no records. Gaskets. jugs. chrome on pushrod tubes. rubbers. etc appear to be fresh. engine has lots of compression. Previous owner filled both cylinders with oil thus preserving the engine-work just completed. Overall an original BMW R69S that can be restored to its former glory or a perfect candidate to enjoy as-is. I have a free and clear title in my name. Bike is sold AS-IS.
