BMW F650 GS DAKAR 2007 (stealth version)

Hi folks and welcome to the sale of my stealth Dakar. bought this in 2011 for a trip to europe that never happened and when i bought it i went right through it and the bike had the following work done to it;replaced both fork sealsfull water pump kit fittedreconditioned swing arm with regreased bearings fittedkuba link fitted to rear suspension to drop the bike about 1"brand new bmw low seat fitted about 1" so seat height in total is about 2" lower than standard (forks dropped through 3/4" to level steer out)a brand new scorpion silencer fitted and tool box (where dummy silencer sat)see picsi then hard wired for comms and music socket out lets shown in picsmodified wingman rack and luggage fitted from an africa twintank cover and bag fittedfront wheel professionally rebuilt with new rim and stainless spokesfull service flexi oil pipe mod carried out around clutch casenew chain and sprockets fitted new handle bars and standard grips fitted (not electric) and lastly a new set of barkbuster hand guards were fittedthe tank panels were not in the best condition scratched and had been plastic welded in places so i removed all panels smoothed them out . lastic primed all panels and sprayed them satin/matt black hence the stealth look and new Dakar emblem fitted along with smoked screen to finish the look. (LOG BOOK CHANGED FROM BLUE TO BLACK)BUT EASILY CHANGED SHOULD YOU WANT TO FIT A DIFFERENT SET OF PLASTICSthen the trip fell through and i put the bike in the shed thinking that we would sort another adventure out. o in 18 months she did only a few odd miles and no trip.  so i have decided to sell her . i have all the old parts to put back  standard height and exhaust system . the mileage is 49000 high i know but the engine is as sweet as the day it was made(was a expedition support bike hence the higher than average mileage . o leaks and good tyres . i have in november put a brand new battery on and last week took for the mot passed with flying colours and no advisory. he has got a full history and all booklets and two keys(the starcom unit will not come with the bike for comms but may sell unit only seperately}full engine crash bars are on the bike an extra 12v outlet fitted to dummy tank for charging your phone/ lap top on a journey (see pics)this is a good genuine bike . ut please remember it is a used bike and the description and pictures hopefully do her proudTHIS IS A GREAT COMMUTER/TOURER/FUN BIKE WITH EXCELLENT MILES TO THE GALLONcash on collection only and will not ship to outer mongolia so dont ask ! uk bidders only pleasei have a reserve on the bike but open to SENSIBLE OFFERS and ANY QUESTIONS  welcomeMay be removed as advertised locally .
