Having covered a mere 92764 miles. it’s probably nearly fully run in and will save the purchaser from the tedious running in procedure. Not that riding a K75 could be construed as tedious.

This bike was made when BMW knew how to over engineer a bike. A company that still had the ethos of building machinery for summer holidays in Poland and then the rest of Europe.

Lots of owners. they couldn’t all be wrong. Let’s face it. the old girl is coming up for 24 years old and apparently most 24 year old women have had a few partners – according to my missus.

She’s got a rather large crack. the bike not the missus. on the left side of the top fairing. It’s been glued by someone in the past but it does look as though a hay fever suffering gorilla has snotted on it.

The right side panel has got a couple of small marks on the top edge but overall the bike looks pretty good for its age.

The previous owner had a bit of an obsession with cleaning and this is far cleaner than you’d expect.

Spyball Cat 1 alarm. Will probably help to reduce your insurance costs. but come on. what right minded scrote would want to nick a K75?

Benefits from the later 16v centre stand which is less likely to collapse and allow the bike to topple over.

This bike has a fuel gauge which is considered an upgrade on this particular vintage of BMW.

The MOT runs until the end of April but we will get a new MOT for anyone willing to pay the full asking price. Selling a bike with road tax is a thing of the past now due to a change in the road tax system but there’s a post office just round the corner.

Road test would be welcome if we could work a way round the road tax issue.

We are not a ‘sales’ dealer and do not buy and sell motorcycles. However. we are a motorcycle workshop that service and repair motorcycles. This belonged to a customer who upgraded to a K1200RS and rather than have the hassle of selling it himself privately or get his pants pulled down by a company offering to buy anybikedotcom. traded it to us as it had a few niggles that needed sorting.   

The bike is being sold as a ‘Trade Sale’ with no warranty. We have the V5 logbook. It is in the name of the previous owner.
