Description

Here I have for sale is a 1968 CJ750. "The CJ750 motorcycle is based on the 1956 Soviet IMZ M-72 which was derived from the 1938 BMW R71. Nearly all of them have sidecars. They are often erroneously referred to as BMW "replicas" when in fact. they are derivatives of the IMZ M-72. They were originally produced for the Chinese military and are powered by an air-cooled. four-stroke. opposed flat-twin engine displacing 746cc. The rear wheel is shaft-driven. It uses a 12V electrical system and is equipped with a reverse gear. It also has an electric starter . All of these enhancements were designed by the Chinese. " This CJ750. I just got running to shoot a quick video. but I will still be listing it as a non running project. The bike was completely restored years back. then parked for some time. When I had it running recently today. the engine. gauge. trans including reverse gear . and brakes all work like they should. The head light. brake light. and electric starter did not. I am including with the sale. and new starter. spare wheel holder. spokes for wheels. turn signals. original tool kit. manuals. and a new tire. The bike has a regular new FL title that matches the frame number. however. when the DMV switch the original Chinese registration to a FL title. the DMV listed it as rebuilt. I collect many vintage BMW's and I was very impressed on how close this CJ looks and rides like a BMW.  Take a look at the 68 picture slideshow I provided in the listing and the one quick video.  You must use a regular computer or laptop to see the slideshow and video.  They will not show up with apps. phones. or some tablets.   This is a NO RESERVE auction.
