2008 BMW R1200RT R1200 RT LOW CHASSIS Low seat bike, great value and quite rare

Large pictures are below the text. The bike will be as I got it or washed by myself before the pictures. but has had no other detail cleaning.

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

A decent example RT. not much specification but is the rare proper factory low chassis bike with the low seat option. A bit of corrosion as it has been used. but a good history including a full 24 K service recently. so ready to go.

No reserve sale.

SPECIFICATION AND EXTRAS:

ABS. Heated grips. cruise control. low chassis and seat. Large crash bars.

SERVICE HISTORY:

FULL dealer by mileage or annual. all done at BMW dealers or recently at Bath road who are now a independent specialist.

I will put a new MOT on the bike when sold.

FAULTS AND ISSUES:

All cosmetic. It has been over at zero speed which has marked the crash bars. but nothing else.

Some corrosion and wear and tear. but nothing too bad. please see the pictures.

TEST RIDE DETAILS:

All great! Rides like it should for a bike with a full history.

A nice ride. if a bit low for me.

CONCLUSIONS:

A nice example. and really works fine. Good value as it's lowish miles and has a great history.

I am located in the south west. close to the A303. the M3 and about an hour from Bath. Bristol and Southampton. Two hours' drive/90 miles from London.

I am also convenient for a mainline railway station with direct services from London Waterloo and I would be happy to collect you from the local railway station if you wish to travel here by train and then ride the bike home.

I am happy to discuss delivery (for a fee) if this helps. as I have a pick up truck. or to advise on collection services.

Delivery in the UK is ?130 England or Wales. a bit more to Scotland.

I am selling this bike as a TRADER and I do this as my full-time occupation. with 30+ years experience in the trade.

The bike IS NOT registered to me but will be on a dealer S. O. R. N. Most of my stock is purchased directly from official dealers. so the bikes have been checked by the dealer as well as myself. I will always ride and check the machines myself before sale. and they are fully able to be ridden home. unless otherwise noted in the ad. It may not have any tax . but there is a Post Office a few minutes from the house if you need/want to tax it. I have a very fine professional mechanic friend who does work for me. so anything done on the bikes is done by an expert.
