Here is an interesting unfinished project for someone to do in the coming winter months.
This machine started life as an 800cc BMW but has an R60/7 engine.
The bike comes with a V5c logbook which dates the machine as 1979. I believe the engine is from 1978.
Work ceased on this bike some time ago and it has been languishing in reasonably dry storage.
This bike is a great start to build a caf?� racer or customised special.
The front wheel is binding on the brake at present but I will do my best to free this off before collection. If not. I have a trolley which can be placed under the front wheel to move it.
Please look at the pictures carefully. The eagle eyed may have spotted heavy duty tape around the cylinder heads. this is to hold the rocker covers on and stop any ingress of dirt as there are no fixing bolts. Under the tape all is well.
