1939 BMW R71 Replica

Up for auction is a very rare 1939 WWII Military BMW R71 replica. This is by far the nicest and best BMW R71 Replica ever been offered on eBay!

This motorcycle has been professionaly built and restored by using an authentic  1954 URAL M72 motorcyle imported from Germany many years ago. The engine installed on this bike is a genuine 1969 BMW R60/2 in excellent condition. ALL THE COMPONENTS USED WERE IMPORTED FROM EUROPE AT GREAT COST! This bike features all of the best that can go into a restorations projets! Bike is titled as a 1964 BMW. Bike is kept in heated garage at all times. This bike is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. has always been well maintained and many many thousends of dollars have been spent in the restoration process. I use this bike as a daly rider to travel to work in the warm season and on most weekends. It is a big head turner . draws huge crowds everywere I go and is definitely the hottest bike in town!!!!

The engine :

The engine is a very nice. in EXCELLENT CONDITION and strong running 1969 BMW R60/2 engine with original BING carburetors. These BMW engins are very expensive but will last forever and are very very reliable and unexpensive to maintain in the long run. Both engine heads have been rebuilt to new condition in 2011. The clutch has also been replaced in 2011 with a special strong version clutch plate for sidecar use. Crankshaft rubber seal has been replaced in 2011. It will start at first kick as a BMW should do!!!

The Transmission :

The transmission is a genuine early version (1954) M72 4 speed transmission with original foot and hand shifter. NO REVERS GEAR on this version. It has been rebuilt to new condition in Germany in 2011.

The Finaldrive :

The Finaldrive is a genuine early version (1954) M72 reardrive. It has been rebuilt to new condition in Germany in 2011.

The Wheels :

The wheels are heavy duty URAL M72 wheels bought in Ukraine. Two wheels are genuine USSR ARMY version wheels with Russian Army Star stamped on it. This special version wheels have greese feeders for better maintenance. The spare wheel on the sidecar has some broken spokes. I will provide a set of brand new spokes to replace the broken ones!!! All four tires are genuine Russian high quality Tires and were new in 2011.

The Front Brake Hub :

Front brake hub is a heavy duty extra powerfull version from a URAL K-750.

The Military equipement :

Machine Gun rest;

Blackout light (not connected);

Military Shovel;

2 Military style helmets with goggles (DOT approved);

1940 Hoist with 20’ of original military rope;

Small 1942 metal Fuel tank;

8 Replica Military Padlocks on Ammo boxes;

Original 1945 Leather straps all over the sidecarand bike;

Shipping of this item is your responsability and on your charge. I will assist your shipper to load it on the truck if required. I can also build a wooden crate on shippers request and specifications. on your expense. Calculate about 300$ to build a wooden crate (extra charge). I used « U-Ship » in the past and was very satified with  the price and quality of service.
